Authors Book Club Event: Point of View: Who Should Tell Your Story? with Meg Eden

Have you started a writing project with excitement, but quickly lost interest and felt stuck? Sometimes changing the point of view in the story can reinvigorate a project, and give direction on how to move forward. In this workshop, we’ll explore stories that use unique perspectives, and take part in a writing exercise to get ideas on what perspectives could transform our own stories. Books will be available for sale and signing after the program. This FREE event is co-sponsored by Anne Arundel County Public Library and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators MD/DE/WV Region. Please register below to help us plan for refreshments.

Meg Eden’s work has been published in various magazines, including Rattle, Drunken Boat, Poet Lore, RHINO and Gargoyle. She teaches creative writing at the University of Maryland. She has five poetry chapbooks, and her novel Post-High School Reality Quest is published with California Coldblood, an imprint of Rare Bird Books. Find her online at www.megedenbooks.com or on Twitter at ConfusedNarwhal.
