What they Don’t Tell You About Publishing: the Secrets of Agents and Editors is a workshop that will equip you with everything you need to jump into the publishing industry. We’ll discuss the roles of agents and editors, what they’re looking for in work, and how you can make your work stand out through strong query letters, pitches, and bios. We’ll also discuss some key tips for how to get to know agents and editors better. No project required for this workshop; however, students who have a manuscript in mind will have opportunities to create and practice a mini pitch for the class.
